Abstract

The influence of temperature on the UV and visible emission from pulse irradiated pure hydrocarbons (3-methylpentane, methylcyclohexane) was investigated. In the visible spectral range the emission was observed during and after the pulse. The mechanism of excited states formation in irradiated saturated hydrocarbons is discussed.
