Abstract
The concentrations of trace elements in two types of gallstones in 24 female patients in Tripoli aged 24–60 years have been determined using instrumental neutron activation analysis. These elements are Co, Fe, Mn, Se and Zn. The results are expressed in ppm and are in agreement with reported values. The data suggested that the concentrations of trace elements increase with age.
