Abstract

Sequential separation and radiochemical determinations of low-level plutonium, americium, strontium, and cesium in soil and vegetation samples from coral atolls are described. Elmination of calcium matrix salts and interfering magnesium salts are explained. Data on measurement protocols and chemical yields are presented.
