Abstract
Lacunary polyphosphotungstate salt, K10P2W17O61 (P2W17) showed a good ability to adsorb uranium from phosphoric acid solutions under certain conditions. Effects of several factors, such as Fe2+, H3PO4 and U concentrations and some cations present in the medium, on the uranium adsorption yield by P2W17 complex were studied. In addition, effect of agitating time and reaction temperature were investigated.
