Zusammenfassung
Bei 150 erwachsenen Personen und 200 Kindern, die wegen eines Heimunfalles spitalärztlich behandelt werden mußten, wurden der Unfallhergang und die Unfallursachen durch Befragung und Inspektion des Unfallortes abgeklärt. Zahlenmäßig standen die Frakturen im Vordergrund. An zweiter Stelle folgten die Schnitt-, Stich-und Quetschwunden, gefolgt von den Verbrühungen. Verbrennungen und Vergiftungen wurden selten beobachtet.
Alle Unfälle ließen sich auf 3 Ursachengruppen zurückführen: Auf menschliches Versagen, auf unzulängliche Einrichtungen und Gebrauchsgegenstände und auf körperliche Behinderungen.
Als besonders gefährdet erwiesen sich die Kinder und die Betagten.
In Anbetracht der Häufigkeit und der nicht selten schweren Folgen von Heimunfällen sind auf die Unfallursachen gerichtete präventivmedizinische Maßnahmen erforderlich.
Résumé
On a relevé le déroulement et les causes d'accident par inspection des lieux d'accident et par interrogatoire chez 150 adultes et 200 enfants hospitalisés pour cause d'accidents de ménage. Dans l'ordre d'importance, viennent en premier les fractures, ensuite les coupures, les piqûres, les contusions et des échaudures.
Les causes d'accident se divisent en trois groupes: défaillances humaines, installations ou instruments défectueux et malformations physiques.
Les enfants et les personnes âgées sont les plus exposés aux accidents de ménage.
Vu la fréquence et les conséquences souvent graves de ces accidents, la médecine préventive se doit de prendre toutes les mesures nécessaires en tenant compte des causes d'accident.
