Abstract
In order to determine radium in environmental samples by α-spectrometry, the way in which some changes in the chromatographic conditions can affect the purification of the element on cation exchange columns from hydrochloric solutions have been studied. Some modifications have also been introduced in the method of electrodeposition of radium from an ammonium oxalate electrolyte.
