Summary
The reasons for plasma-fractionation are mentioned. Today from the great number of known fractions only fibrinogen,γ-globulin and albumin are important for the clinician. This made it possible to modifie Cohn's classical fractionation methods in ordre to obtain better yields. A simple method for the production of fibrinogen, gamma-globulin and albumin is mentioned. Finally the properties of these fractions and the possibilities of their use in medecin are recalled.
