Summary

In two workshops of rotogravure printing, the analysis of air and of certain solvents and inks revealed the existence of important quantities of benzol which were the cause of hematological and other troubles.

It could be advisable to investigate systematically workshops of rotogravure printing in Switzerland, in order to detect the risk of benzolism and to establish the stricter use of this dangerous solvent.
