Summary
According to the theory of Biorythms, man's physical, emotional and intellectual energy could be more efficiently managed. This would be of special interest to personnel management for a better utilization of the work force.
However, the claims of the theory are not supported by any scientifice vidence. A group of 500 drivers who caused an accident was compared to a control group of 500 cases. In both group, around 80% of the subjects were in a «critical day» according to the theory.
Thus, although the theory could «explain» 4 out of every 5 accidents, as it was claimed before hand, it could not predict better than chance.
