Modeling of particle motion in a turbulent flow with allowance for collisions

Abstract

On the basis of the kinetic equation for the colliding-particle velocity probability density distribution in a turbulent flow, a model for calculating the dispersed phase motion is constructed for a broad range of variation of the number density and particle size.
