Summary

Some important time history sets of transient dynamic actions are examined. The results of previous studies, aimed at characterizing the “worst” time histories (understood as the ones that maximize certain measures of the structural response) in the sets, are generalized. The uses of the worst time histories, in the field of the linear analysis of structures, are discussed.

Sommario
