Summary
The paper deals with problems of wave-propagation on multiconductor transmission lines at very high frequencies. The transmission line equations for current and voltage on each conductor are given in a generalized form using matrix symbols. Two examples show how these equations are to be applied to practical problems and how proper boundary conditions are to be introduced. The first example concerns the theory of a transmission line directional coupler, the second example a simplified theory of the folded dipole antenna.
