Summary
The activity of bacterial neuraminidases can be influenced by H2O2 secreted by some organisms. Thus, at low H2O2 concentrations (0.002–0.01%), an increase of neuraminidase activities was observed, whereas at concentrations 0.1% the enzyme activities were destroyed.
