Of the varieties cultivated in Holland Fay's Prolific, Versailles and Laxton no 1 are very susceptible, whereas Duitsche Zure (Prince Albert) en Erstling aus Vierlanden are more or less resistant. The question is put forward if pre-blossom or if after-harvesting sprays will be most succesfull. Probably a combination of both sprays will do best, but enough experience is lacking.
