Activités importantes du médecin du travail : — élaborer et déterminer des valeurs limite (valeurs MAC) sur lesquelles on puisse fonder les mesures techniques et médicales de prévention — pratiquer et interpréter les examens d'aptitude (prévention médicale), c'est-à-dire les examens d'embauche et de contrôle périodique dans un but de sélection et de surveillance
