Der Röntgenfernaufnahme sind also die Wege geebnet, um allgemein in die orthodontische Praxis eingeführt werden zu können, weil keine außerordentlichen Apparate erforderlich sind, da sich gezeigthat, daßauch Dentalapparate die nötige Leistung aufbringen. Mit der angegebenen sehr einfachen Technik und einem billigen, selbst herstellbaren Entwickler können mühelos Negative erzielt werden, die mit ihrer tadellosen Skelettweichteilreproduktion ein wertvolles Hilfsmittel für die Orthodontie werden. Auf diese Weise können andere zeitraubende und sehr umständliche Methoden, die zudem eine geringere Ausbeute für die Analyse von dentofazialen Deformitäten liefern, entbehrlich werden.

La téléradiographie pourra donc s'introduire dans la pratique orthodontique grâce aux progrès récents, car il n'est plus nécessaire de posséder pour cela des appareils compliqués, ceux destinés aux dentistes pouvant le réaliser. En suivant la technique indiquée, qui est très simple et en utilisant un révélateur à bon marché, qu'on peut préparer soi-même, on obtient facilement des négatifs qui sont un moyen d'investigation très précieux dans l'orthodontie, par la reproduction impeccable du squelette et des parties molles qu'ils nous donnent. Ainsi sont rendues superflues les autres méthodes minutieuses et longues qui, malgré cela, présentent un moyen moins profitable d'analyser des déformations dentofaciales.

Synopsis

Teleroentgenography is on the point of being introduced into general orthodontic practice, because it is no longer necessary to possess complicated appliances, as the ordinary dental x-ray machines are sufficient. By following out the technique described, which is quite simple, and by using an inexpensive developer which can be prepared by the operator himself, it is easy to obtain good negatives which constitute a very precious means of investigation for the orthodontist, by perfectly reproducing both hard and soft tissues. In this way, other more complicated and lengthy methods can be done away with as they were only of slight advantage for the analysis of dento-facial deformities.
