Eine neue Viruskrankheit bei den Gespinstmotten Yponomeuta padella L. und Y. evonymella L. (Lep., Yponomeutidae)

Abstract

A new virus disease infecting the larvae of Yponomeuta padella L. and Y. evonymella L. (Lep. Yponomeutidae

In larvae ofY. padella andY. evonymella, collected in June/July 1976 near Munich a virosis (polyhedrosis) was stated for the first time. The pathogen occured in all the larval stages and was found in nearly all of tissues. It infected 16.5% resp. 20.6% of the larvae and was the chief factor of mortality. A description of the new pathogen is given.
