Summary
In this paper attempt is made to give some characteristics of the annual march of the air temperature at Athens, on the basis of 1901–1950 24-hrs daily means. A computation of dates at which the average temperature crosses certain thresholds is done through the Conrad's and Pollak's method, and the % frequency of days having certain mean daily temperatures is given. The graphical representation of the monthly relative temperatures is also given and the interannual variability of temperature is discussed.
