Summary
We have shown that immunoelectrophoresis and the Ouchterlony double diffusion technique are valuable assays for the identification ofAeromonas species. Serological correlations have been found between the antigenic extracts originated from a collection reference strains ofAeromonas hydrophila subsp.hydrophila and those originated from wild type water isolated.
