Zusammenfassung
Archäologische Reste von Kulturpflanzen sind eine wertvolle Erkenntnisquelle, da sie direkte Zeugnisse des Ablaufs der Kulturpflanzen-Evolution darstellen. Anhand von Beispielen aus den GattungenTriticum, Hordeum, Pisum, Vicia, Papaver, Linum, Vitis undSolanum wird gezeigt, wie durch das Studium archäologischer Reste unsere Kenntnisse und Vorstellungen von der Evolution der Kulturpflanzen gefördert und beeinflußt werden.
Summary
Archaeological remains of cultivated plants are a useful source of knowledge because they represent direct witnesses of the course of evolution. By using examples from the generaTriticum, Hordeum, Pisum, Vicia, Papaver, Linum, Vitis andSolanum it is shown how our knowledge of the evolution of cultivated plants is furthered and influenced by investigating archaeological remains.
