Über die Wirkungsweise des Wachstumshormons der Hypophyse

Zusammenfassung

  1. 1.

    Das Wachstumshormon des Hypophysenvorderlappens wirkt in gleicher Weise auf normale, wie auf thyreoidektomierte Tiere.

  2. 2.

    Die Gleichartigkeit der Wirkung offenbart sich auch darin, daß die Gewichtsabnahme nach Einstellung der Hormonbehandlung bei normalen und bei thyreoidektomierten Tieren in gleicher Weise eintritt.

  3. 3.

    Der Grundstoffwechsel der behandelten Tiere steigt proportional mit der Gewichtszunahme.

  4. 4.

    Die nach der Einstellung der Hormongabe auftretende Gewichtsabnahme hängt nicht mit der Tätigkeit der Schilddrüse zusammen.
