Abstract

Nasal surgery in children should be done to restore nasal function and prevent the consequences of impeded function. However, care must be taken to preserve the continuity of the septum cartilage to prevent disturbance of nasal growth. In a number of patients, various techniques have been used successfully. Cosmetic surgery of the nose should be delayed until the nose is fully grown.
