Evaluation of corrective breast surgery

Abstract

Relatively little is known about the long-term effects of corrective breast surgery, especially whether surgical correction may help women to overcome the psychosocial problems that are important factors in seeking an operation. This study describes some findings that should be considered when making decisions concerning the treatment of women seeking corrective breast surgery.
