Wenn es sich bei den Schweremessungen nur darum handelt, das Schwimmgleichgewicht zu prüfen, kann man die Reduktion der Beobachtungen sehr vereinfachen: dies wird gezeigt.

Summary

The Continents (Sial) are treated as swimming in the underground (Sima) and a simple prove by gravity-measurements is discussed.
