Summary
The crab (Oziotelphusa) displays a diurnal rhythm of acetylcholinesterase activity, with maximal activity around midnight, alternating with minimal activity at noon. Bilateral eyestalk ablation eliminates the diurnal rhythm of acetylcholinesterase activity.
