Summary
The relationship between plasma and myocardial digoxin concentrations was investigated in hypoxic and nonhypoxic dogs. The results indicate that hypoxic dogs have lower plasma levels, higher myocardial levels, and an altered myocardial distribution when compared to non-hypoxic dogs.
