Article

Summary

Fasting for 2 and 4 days progressively increases the activity of hepatic γ-glutamyl transferase (γ-GT) in rat. A high-protein diet (with 42.6 energy percent of protein) for 45 and 90 days inhibits it. It seems that liver γ-GT is susceptible to nutritional influences.
