Summary

Specimens of a flatworm,Dugesia tigrina were decapitated and then cultured in a solution of 1×10−4 M putrescine, spermine or spermidine. Subsequent observation for the reappearance of auricles indicates that the amine treatment stimulates the flatworm regeneration process.
