Phenetic relationships between the families of the Hamamelididae

The phenetic relationships between the families of the Hamamelididae subclass were studied by using the following multifactorial analytical methods: principal components analysis (PCA) and reciprocal averaging (RA). The results obtained agree appreciably with Takhtajan's classification system.
