Abstract

The Iwasawa and triangle decompositions for any real form of Lie algebrasgl(n + 1, ℂ) are given. Construction of these decompositions is based on the explicit calculation of the Cartna automorphisms with the help of which the real forms of Lie algebrasgl(n + 1, ℂ) are defined.
