Monoclonal antibodies to metallothionein from Cd2+-resistant Chinese hamster lung fibroblasts

Summary

Four monoclonal antibodies of the mouse against metallothioneins (MTs) from Cd2+-resistant fibroblasts of the Chinese hamster lung (Cdr-CHL) have been prepared. Each one of the antibodies showed a unique cross-reactivity pattern when tested against MTs from the livers of several mammals and from yeast.
