Identification of type I collagen fibrils in human dentine. Electron microscope immunotyping

Summary

Using immunoperoxidase labeling with anticollagen antibodies and electron microscopy, the collagen fibrils constituting the matrix of human dentine were identified as type I collagen. Thus, the unique odontoblastic origin of dentinal collagen was confirmed.
