Cholangiocarcinoma associated with a type 2 choledochal cyst

Abstract

Choledochal cysts are rare lesions of the biliary tract. Herein described is a case of a patient with a type 2 cyst who also had a cholangiocarcinoma adjacent to the site of the cyst. The cyst is well demonstrated by computed tomography and gross pathologic specimen.
