Zusammenfassung

Die Speicheldrüsenabsonderung der Melonenfliege,Dacus cucurbitae, besteht aus Muco- oder Glycoproteinen. Ein Maximum der Puffing-Aktivität der Chromosomen fällt mit dem Auftreten der Sekretsubstanz im Lumen zeitlich zusammen. Die Sekretion der Drüse beginnt erst, nachdem die Chromosomen ein Maximum des Polytäniegrades erreicht haben.
