Zusammenfassung

Mittels Röntgenstrahlen wurde die Kristallstruktur des β-Blockers Propranolol und seines Chlorhydrats vermessen und beim letzteren geweisse Unterschiede zu früheren Resultaten gefunden. Auf Grund dieser Vermessungen wird erklärt, weshalb auch der Typus B Antagonisten liefern kann, und eine neue Hypothese für die Wirksamkeit von Typ B aufgestellt.
