Zusammenfassung

Bei vergleichenden Untersuchungen an 182 Arten von holzzerstörenden und bodenbewohnenden Basidiomyceten konnte bei 14 Arten eine reichliche Peroxydase-Bildung festgestellt werden.

Peroxydase tritt ebenso wie Laccase bei höheren Pilzen als konstitutives Ektoenzym auf. Die Ausscheidung des Fermentes in Flüssigkeitskulturen wurde für 4 Pilzarten mit Hilfe des BAS-Testes in Abhängigkeit von der Kulturdauer quantitativ verfolgt.

Die Pilzperoxydasen ähneln in vielen Eigenschaften der Peroxydase des Meerrettichs. Ihre pH-Optima liegen zwischen 5,0 und 6,3.

In der Hitzeresistenz unterscheiden sie sich nicht wesentlich von den Pilz-Laccasen, wohl aber von der Meerrettich-Peroxydase, die ausnahmsweise hitzebeständig ist. Im einzelnen bestehen artspezifische Resistenzunterschiede bei den untersuchten Pilzfermenten, die möglicherweise mit der allgemeinen Temperaturresistenz der betreffenden Art parallel gehen.

Die Peroxydasen vonPhellinus igniarius und des Meerrettichs haben den gleichen Temperatur-Quotienten. Die Abnahme vonQ 10 mit steigender Temperatur ist in diesem Fall nicht auf eine Hitzeinaktivierung zurückzuführen.

Eine direkte Oxydation der Ascorbinsäure durch die Peroxydasen ließ sich bei der angewendeten Methodik nicht nachweisen, da eine ausgeprägte Fermentinaktivierung auftrat, deren mögliche Ursachen diskutiert werden.

Als mögliche Funktion der Peroxydase holzzerstörender Pilze wird eine Beteiligung am Ligninabbau angenommen.
