Zusammenfassung
Der Verfasser berichtet von einem Fund eines Schädels eines bei Temesvar/Rumänien geschossenen Feldhasen,Lepus europaeus europaeus Pallas, 1778, mit überzähligen ersten oberen Prämolaren. An Hand der Fälle von überzähligen P1 beim Feldhasen und P5 bei Hauskaninchen, Fälle die durchaus atavistisch erklärt werden können, da sie am Rande des morphogenetischen Gradienten für Prämolarisation stehen, wird auf die mögliche Prämolarenzahl im Oberkiefer der Vorfahren der Urlagomorphen geschlossen.
Summary
The author reports on a finding of a skull of Field Hare,Lepus europaeus europaeus Pallas, 1778, shooten near Timişoara-Rumania with supernumerary first upper praemolars. On the findings of supernumerary P1 in the Field hare and P5 in Domestic Rabbits, findings which may be easy explained atavistic because these teeth are standing at the ends of the morphogenetic gradient for praemolarisation, the author concludes to a possible number of praemolars in the upper jaw in the ancestors of the first lagomorphs.
