Experimental transmission of a factor responsible of male intersexuality inOrchestia gammarellus (Pallas)


Grafts of male-intersex or thelygenous female organs induce oostegit development in normal males. The factor responsible of this intersexuality is experimentally transmissible. It is not strictly specific; it can provoke the appearance of oostegits in males ofTalitrus saltator andOrchestia cavimana.
