Résumé
Une nouvelle cholinestérase des racines des haricots a été isolée et partiellement purifiée. L'affinité de la cholinestérase des haricots pour l'acêtylcholine est comparable à celle de l'acétylcholinestérase animale, mais elle diffère de cette dernière par sa réaction aux inhibiteurs et par d'autres propriétés. Une corrélation positive entre l'inhibition de la production des racines des haricots par plusieurs retardants de la croissance végétale et leurs effets, inhibitoires sur la cholinestérase a été établie dans cette étude.
