1-β-d-arabinofuranosylcytosine-5′-triphosphate and 9-β-d-arabinofuranosyladenosine-5′-triphosphate were found to have no inhibitory potency for both mammalian DNA-dependent RNA polymerase II andE. coli DNA-dependent RNA polymerase.
