Plasma endotoxin levels in the early phase of septic shock

Conclusion

Endotoxemia and hemodynamic patterns in the early phase of septic shock were similar with the survivor and non survivor patients. We suggest that early endotoxemia may be an epiphenomenon rather than an important determinant of the course of septic shock.
