Diese Arbeit berichtet über die Anwendung des Linear-Programming bei einer einmalig zu treffenden Management-Entscheidung. Die Entscheidungssituation, betriebswirtschaftliche und modelltechnische Aspekte sowie Erfahrungen beim Software-Einsatz werden dargestellt.

Summary

There is a unique management decision making in the determination of cost-optimal locations, by simultaneous improvements of the inventory and distribution policy. A mixed-integer optimization model is set up and the experience of its implementation is discussed.
