Abstract

The infectivity of two virus-strains (NPV) was tested againstP. flammea andL. monacha. It could be shown that theP. flammea-virus was only pathogenic forP. flammea-larvae but not for the nun moth (L. monacha); whereas larvae ofP. flammea could be infected by the NPV fromL. monacha.
