Durch Abwandlung der Struktur der 4-Oxo-5-thiazolidinessigsäure ergeben sich starke inhibitorische Effekte auf die cytopathogenen Wirkungen, die vom VirusHerpes simplex in Kulturen menschlicher Embryonalzellen ausgeübt werden.
