Extrazellulärraumindikatorverteilung ist in vivo und in vitro unterschiedlich, trotz ähnlicher Tendenz. Das Myokard verändert sich während der in-vitro-Inkubation. Deshalb erscheint es unmöglich, in vitro normale beziehungsweise in vivo herrschende Extrazellulärräume zu messen.
