Es gelang der photographische Nachweis einer spindelapparatähnlichen Struktur inSaccharomyces cerevisiae Hansen. Die regelmässige Chromosomenverteilung zwischen Mutterzelle und Knospe wird durch diese Struktur zusammen mit Zentrosomen ermöglicht.
