Es wird ein Test angewendet, der native und denaturierte DNS unterscheiden lässt. Er besteht auf einer Verklumpung nativer DNS bei Zugabe von kationisierten Stoffen, während denaturierte DNS nur eine Trübung, respektive einen Niederschlag gibt.
