Lymphatic metastases to the esophagus

Abstract

The authors present 4 cases of esophageal involvement by lymphatic spread of tumors originating in the stomach, distal esophagus, and thyroid. Double-contrast radiographs of the esophagus showed discontinuous submucosal extension and multiple polypoid masses.
