Summary

A rapid procedure for detecting proteolytic enzymes and proteinase inhibitors in various solutions has been developed. The detection is based on the proteolysis of a thin laver of dved gelatin laying on a disk prepared from a photographic film. Proteinase (or proteinase inhibitor) fositive and negative samples can be distinguished in a short period of time.
