Understanding the culture through mythological stories

Certain differences between Krishna, Shivaism, and Jainism have been poined out. These differences are reflected in the everyday lives of the followers of these creeds. Effective analysis is possible only if the analyst is familiar with and takes into account the cultural and religious background of his patient.
